YANGON, April 16 (Xinhua) -- Water brings some chill to scorching summer heat during the Thingyan water festival in Yangon, Myanmar, with people throwing water at each other to drive out bad luck and embrace health and happiness.
The festival, marking the start of Myanmar New Year, usually occurs in middle of April and lasts four to five days. It falls on April 13 this year.
