TUNIS, April 29 (Xinhua) -- The 37th Tunis International Book Fair is being held at the Kram Exhibition Center in the Tunisian capital of Tunis.
Under the theme "Fly with the wings of the book," the book fair kicked off on Friday and will continue till May 7.
A total of 279 exhibitors from 22 countries attended the fair, with about 500,000 books on display, according to its official Facebook page.
During the event, six literary and intellectual writing awards and two publishing awards will be presented.
