The first episodes of Emily in Paris season 4 dropped on August 15, following up with part two on September 15, renewing our obsession with the jewellery the show has always showcased. Just as Carrie Bradshaw’s Jimmy Choos were a character in their own right in Sex and the City, so are the jewels and accessories in the Lily Collins hit series.
From playful fine jewellery to chic elegance, the show’s accessories are just as captivating as the Parisian backdrop. Whether you’re looking to channel your inner Parisian or your inner Emily Cooper, embark on a brand-new style persona or add a sprinkle of glam to your wardrobe, here are Tatler’s top jewellery trends inspired by the show and the brands that offer the best examples. Oh là là!

Antwerp-based Nue jewellery made a dazzling statement in Season 4 of Emily in Paris, with 20 pieces chosen for the show. The Emmy-nominated costume designer, Marylin Fitoussi, chose the brand for its charming and feminine aesthetic, highlighting how the brand’s delicate jewellery effortlessly complements everyday looks—much in line with the lead character, Emily Cooper’s girl-next-door charm. This minimalistic trend with stacked petite rings, dainty pendants and climber earrings is much opposed to the show’s previous seasons. And hopefully, it’s here to stay.

Emily’s BFF Mindy Chen, played by Beef and Only Murders in the Building star Ashley Park, is all about that layered necklace magic. She mixes and matches different styles and lengths to create an effortlessly chic look. Want to steal her style? Check out coin necklaces from celeb-fave US brand Madewell. Or if you’re based in or swinging by Hong Kong, try Chantel Shafie’s statement-making medallions for the same effect.

Emily’s wardrobe is bursting with bold statement hoop earrings that scream fun. To make a similar splash, we’d head straight to Messika and choose a pair (or three) that could have come straight from the social media strategist’s jewellery box.
Pearl rings

Pearls are often seen as traditional, or even stuffy, but despite (or because of?) this, they suit a Parisian aesthetic, whether seen in a statement necklace or classic earrings. We love Emily’s contemporary take on the gemstone with this Tasaki pearl ring; alternatively, check out Kajal Naina’s cute freshwater pearl and diamond modern take on the look.

One of Emily’s most recognisable pieces of jewellery from season 3 of the hit Netflix series is her personalised initial necklace. The delicate 18-karat gold-plated pendant featuring a cursive “E” is from the French label Vanrycke Paris. Or, if you’re less understated, more look-at-me, check out Jennifer Zeuner, which offers different font styles, pendant styles, shapes, colours and chains.

Mismatched earrings are all about breaking the rules and having fun, showcasing individuality and allowing for creativity—in other words, Emily’s go-to approach to life. Pieces spotted on the Cartier ambassador’s ears include those from Parisian brands such as Mara Paris and Persée Paris. If you don’t have a trip planned to the City of Lights, though APM Monaco has a stunning collection of similar mismatched earrings.
