The relationship between celebrities and fashion is deeply intertwined, with actors, singers and musicians now setting the standard for style through their performances, public appearances and collaborations with fashion brands. Indeed, Asia’s Most Stylish entertainers reflect the trends and tastes of today, whether it’s the bold choices of rising artists like Hong Kong singer Jace Chan or the more emotional expressions of Thai actors such as Off Jumpol Adulkittiporn and Gun Atthaphan Phunsawat. And with social media, their influence in fashion is amplified even more as they share what they wear and what they like directly with millions of people who seek to emulate their style.

“Whether it’s about my music, my sexuality, my fashion style, I’m on an adventure. I’m here to explore,” says Jace Chan, the singer, dancer and actress who embraces a range of expressions, from a full snakeskin look (halter top + low-rise trousers + matching gloves) to a collegiate-inspired performance outfit (featuring a Miu Miu microskirt and a repp tie). Her bold, joyous choices mirror her trajectory in the entertainment world, debuting as an actor in 2017, transitioning into music and now becoming one of the most in-demand independent artists in Hong Kong. “I think people come to me because I create new pathways—I refuse to limit myself,” she adds.

Fashion has always been an intrinsic part of Jasmine Sokko, with the singer employing all manner of masks—some sculptural, some resembling visors, some adorned with safety pins—to conceal part of her identity (and let her music speak for itself). Then in 2023, the artist decided to present her full self to the world. “The whole time I’ve been making music, I was always trying to find my sound. I never had a definitive answer,” she says. “But around the time when I unmasked [myself], I found it—and I feel so confident about this new phase.” Masked or not, style remains integral in Sokko’s journey as she works on her first full album and expresses herself with creations by Mugler, Rick Owen and Dion Lee.

Actors Off Adulkittiporn and Gun Phunsawat currently star in the well-received BL series The Trainee. In the show, Off plays Ryan, a student navigating the challenges of his new internship, while Gun plays Jane, the assistant director who Ryan falls for. The Trainee builds on the popular OffGun pairing, which began inSenior Secret Love: Puppy Honey and has found success in more projects like Theory of Love and Not Me.

Just like their careers, the pair’s style choices are in synch, with both actors leading with emotion. Gun says, “My style depends on my mood and what I’m into at the moment…I always have fun dressing up.” And Off advises, “The most important thing is your confidence, your inner self that you let shine…if you’re confident about how you look, you can rock any style no matter how simple or peculiar.” Things are looking bright for the duo: in January 2025, Off and Gun, along with other popular T-wave pairs, will hold a fanmeet in Rome
