Designer Patricia Urquiola channels a 1970s furniture vibe with the new Sengu table and sofa and the Dudet armchair.
Instil a touch of poetic tactility to your living/dining room with Cassina’s newest furniture pieces. Taking inspiration from Japanese shrines, the Sengu table is a sculptural piece of furniture that celebrates conviviality, with a poetic aura underlining the mesh-up of different materials.
The oval and round table has a solid wood structure, with an oval leg, the top clad in the same wood essence as the structure: Canaletto walnut, natural oak or stained black oak. Otherwise, you can combine it with a cylindrical column available in an arresting array of marbles and coloured ceramics.
In the meantime, the Dudet compact armchair is defined by three individual padded elements: a seat cushion and two tubes linking up the legs, armrests and backrests. The softness and cosiness are augmented under the upholstery’s welcoming curves.
