BEIJING, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- President of Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua met with Cuban Ambassador to China Alberto Blanco Silva in Beijing on Thursday, with both sides agreeing to boost cooperation between Xinhua and Cuban media and think tanks.
Noting that China-Cuba ties have started a new chapter in the new era, the two sides called on the media and think tanks of the two countries to continue to convey the voice of China-Cuba friendship and enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples.

Both sides also expressed a commitment to promoting exchanges and mutual learning with all parties through mechanisms such as the Global South Media and Think Tank Forum, and amplifying the voice of the Global South. ■
