KUNDUZ, Afghanistan, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Horse riders compete in a game of Buzkashi, or "goat grabbing" in Afghanistan's northern Kunduz province.
Buzkashi is the Afghan version of a game that is played across all of Central Asia. It is the national sport and a passion in Afghanistan, where it is often played on Fridays. Matches draw thousands of fans, with two teams of horsemen competing to grab a goat carcass and carry it through a goal.
