HONG KONG, March 26 (Xinhua) -- Landmarks in Malaysia, Australia and the Philippines went dark on Saturday night to mark this year's Earth Hour, a worldwide movement organized by the World Wildlife Fund. The event is held annually, encouraging individuals, communities, and businesses to turn off non-essential electric lights, for one hour, on the last Saturday of March, as a symbol of commitment to the planet.
