Xi replies to letter from community workers fighting COVID-19 in Wuhan

BEIJING, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping praised community workers for their important role in the battle against COVID-19, urging them to continue solid efforts in containing the epidemic and whole-heartedly serving the people.

Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks in a Wednesday letter to community workers at a neighborhood in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province.  ■
