The biggest failure to decouple from China would be the United States, said Andrew Irving, general secretary of the Communist Party of Australia.

"The U.S. isn't cornered into accepting the reality of a multi-polar world and there has to be enough motivation in the international community to force the United States to recognize that it can no longer dictate," Andrew said.
