GUANGZHOU, June 1 (Xinhua) -- A lion with bangs at the Guangzhou Zoo has become a trending topic on Chinese social media. The lion, named Ahang, is a 13-year-old white lion.
Did the staff cut the hairstyle? Dr. Huang Zhihong, director of the science education department of the zoo, said that the zoo staff didn't cut the lion's hair. He speculated the hairstyle was caused by the rain, hot weather, and the wind in Guangzhou.
