As part of Home Journal’s cross-brand campaign 2022, the “Lasting Beauty” exhibition will present the best-of-the-best furniture, home decor and appliances for modern living spaces, held from 9 to 10 July at The Annex, Central.

Home Journal is once again joining forces with the Asia Designers Community (ADC) for the third edition of the annual cross-brand campaign. Differing from its predecessors, this year’s rendition includes a first-ever, open-to-the-public furniture and design exhibition.

Titled “Lasting Beauty,” the exhibition will take visitors on a journey of exploring the true value of timeless design. For the first time, the cross-brand campaign has invited three accomplished interior designers to curate a bespoke conceptual living space based on the theme of “Lasting Beauty.”

Interior designers Ken Leung (Hei Design Ltd), Johnny Shum (MAKE IT WORKS LTD), and Ivan Ho (C&I Interior Design) have recently been awarded the SGS x ADC Interior Design Service Excellence Certificate. Together they’ve created a bespoke art and furniture installation that pays tribute to enduring design, showcasing an assortment of time-tested, best-in-class home decor, furniture and appliances.

In an ever-evolving world where fads and trends come and go, new technology continues to disrupt how designers and brands approach design, the exhibition sets out to reframe your ideas about creativity, enlightening you with design inspirations for creating a permanent and lasting space that is uniquely yours.

As Asia’s first credible certificate designed specifically for the interior design industry, designers successfully obtaining the SGS x ADC Interior Design Service Excellence Certificate must pass through a series of stringent assessments in terms of service and product quality. The accolade is thus a testament to their professionalism and industry reputation.

Within a staging that’s equal parts theatrical and refined, the exhibition epitomises the finest fusion of function and aesthetic, cutting-edge technology and durability, rigorous balance and order. Like precious heirlooms passed down along the generations, immortal furniture bears the mark and stories of its user. Its enduring presence is what cultivates a space that’s as homey as it’s personal.
