HANGZHOU, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) -- Japan's Toshiki Uematsu and South Korea's Mun Hye-gyeong won the men's and women's soft tennis singles golds respectively at the Hangzhou Asian Games on Saturday.
Uematsu breezed past Chang Yu-sung of Chinese Taipei 4-0 to claim the men's singles title.
"The match started just as I imagined. It went very well, and I played very well. I am satisfied with this result," Uematsu said after the match.

Mun struck gold in the women's singles event by defeating Noa Takahashi of Japan 4-0.
"The pressure was so heavy. But because I had to win and everyone put their trust in me, I had my best performance under such pressure," Mun said.
China's duo of Ma Yue and Li Denglin had lost to Mun and Takahashi respectively in the semifinals. ■
