TULKAREM, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- Palestinians clashed with Israeli forces during demonstrations against Jewish settlement expansion in the West Bank on Friday.
Israeli forces fired tear gas to disperse Palestinian demonstrators near the West Bank city of Tulkarem.
In the West Bank village of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus, protesters threw back tear gas canisters fired by Israeli soldiers.
Clashes also broke out in the city of Hebron on Friday.
