The Opposites, a new bar venture from World Class champions Antonio Lai and Samuel Kwok, is set to shake up Hong Kong's cocktail scene when it opens in Central this summer. These two mixology heavyweights, who've spent over a decade working together at establishments like Quinary, are teaming up again to showcase their contrasting styles and philosophies.

Lai, the creative force behind concepts like Room 309 and Draft Land, is known for his flair for theatrical, avant-garde techniques. Kwok, on the other hand, is a master of elegantly balanced classics with an adventurous twist. Together, they're aiming to compose a new era of cocktail crafting founded on the art of juxtaposition.

It's a bold showcase of how opposing talents can blend into something greater than the sum of its parts. With their shared values and unique bond cultivated over years of partnership, Lai and Kwok are poised to bring their unique working relationship to the next level when The Opposites opens its doors in July 2024. Stay tuned for more news in the coming weeks.
