CHENGDU, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- China defeated Uzbekistan 56-23 to win the taekwondo women's team gold on its last competition day at the Chengdu Universiade here on Friday.

"The most important thing in team competition is to trust your teammates, and we did it today," said Chinese athlete Zhou Zeqi after the final.
In the men's team final, South Korea defeated Iran 52-40 to win the title. ■
