Perched atop Lan Kwai Fong on the 23rd floor of the California Tower, contemporary izakaya-inspired Kyoto Joe unveils an exquisite ‘Savour Autumn: A Typhoon Shelter’ experience tasting menu under the expert guidance of chef Dow, the menu celebrates the pinnacle of seasonal freshness while prominently featuring hairy crab.
Available from September 16 to October 31, 2024, and priced at HK$880 per person, the six-course autumn dinner tasting menu features a selection of appetisers including Hokkaido crab meat served with cucumber-wrapped rock melon, and eel with cucumber and yuzu vinegar.
To follow, guests can enjoy the crab claw salad; a selection of seasonal sashimi and sushi; and Isoyaki abalone with braised radish served in lobster soup.
Thereafter, a choice of main course, which ranges from fried hairy crabmeat and seafood in typhoon shelter-style to grilled A4 Kagoshima ribeye served with egg yolk, is available before guests can tuck into a special dessert crafted by the culinary team. Guests who book their tasting menu experience with at least two guests in advance and secure it with a deposit will receive an exclusive 25% discount.
