GLOBALink | A friendship across time and space

In 1942, a Japanese hell ship sank off the coast of east China with over 1,800 British prisoners of war on board. Chinese fishermen rescued 384 of them. 82 years later, the families of the rescued and of the rescuers met in China to carry on a friendship that defies time and space.
