The creatives, celebrities and digital media personalities of Asia’s Most Stylish have become powerful tastemakers who shape fashion trends, introduce alternative perspectives and influence the preferences of millions. Often lauded for their authenticity and relatability, they connect with people on a deeper level by sharing not just how they put together a variety of looks, but also their personal narratives. In this way, these social media superstars are bridging the gap between the runway and everyday life, becoming an integral part of the fashion ecosystem and a trusted authority on style.

“Fashion makes me feel better, polished and well-put-together. It conveys my confidence, competence and pride in my appearance,” says actress Eyka Farhana. Despite her petite stature, which she says makes it “hard to do fashion”, the actress turns heads in chic looks like a form-fitting gown with an asymmetric cut-out detail for a girls’ night out or a pinstripe waistcoat with a matching skirt worn on a trip to the gallery. The cover star of Tatler Malaysia is also a darling of the entertainment world, having starred in film and TV series like Juvana, Polis Evo and the Indonesian remake of Pretty Little Liars.

For her Fit Check series on Instagram, Nicole Law chronicles what Hongkongers wear every day, from sky-high Balenciaga sneakers to a pair of vintage jorts. The content creator began the series a year ago because she admired “the personal style I saw on the street” and wanted to share diverse perspectives through her on-the-spot interviews. Her Reels are a boon for fashion lovers looking to try these looks; packed with information (and entertainment), they include the Instagram handles of independent designers and hard-to-find brands. Apart from reporting on style, Law herself leaves a big impression: blood-red lips, heavy eyeliner, a head of gorgeous curly hair. Read Nicole Law’s full profile on Asia’s Most Stylish

Pyra, artist, Thailand (58.4K followers)

With the unique sounds of dystopian pop, UK-based musician Pyra is making waves in the music scene. The singer-songwriter, who is also the first Thai performer at Burning Man, not only channels music to comment on social change and youth empowerment, but also uses fashion to convey her message. She says, “My message is quite heavy, so I want to use fashion and lifestyle elements to draw attention and make it easier to digest.” Describing herself as “rebellious,” “eccentric” and “avant-garde,” Pyra’s style often involves exaggerated silhouettes, bold make-up and hand tattoos, all channelled into unmissable futuristic and dystopian looks.
