BEIJING, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Liu Jianchao, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met with former UK First Secretary of State Lord Mandelson on Thursday.
The two sides exchanged views on strengthening inter-party exchanges and cooperation, promoting the sound and stable development of China-UK and China-EU relations, as well as international and regional issues of common concern. ■
