Xi urges Hubei to write its own chapter in Chinese modernization

WUHAN, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping has urged central China's Hubei Province to forge ahead in the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, work faster to build itself into a strategic fulcrum for the rise of the country's central region, and write its own chapter in Chinese modernization.

Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks during an inspection tour in the province from Monday to Wednesday. ■
