CHONGQING, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- The first box girder used for the construction of bridges along the Wanzhou section of Chongqing-Wanzhou high-speed railway in southwest China was successfully concreted Friday, marking the official start of box girders production for the construction of Wanzhou section of the railway.
After the completion of the Chongqing-Wanzhou high-speed railway with a designed speed of 350 km per hour, the travel time from Chongqing to Wanzhou will be shortened to less than one hour.
