An urban oasis tucked inside Rosewood Hong Kong, Asaya is a wellness sanctuary where holistic health meets bespoke treatments. An extensive range of wellness programmes targeting specific health needs, from emotional balance, fitness and nutrition to skin health, can be customised to offer you guidance and options in your wellness journey.

We recommend:

Their skin health programme offers superior care, paying attention to the function and biological wellbeing of the skin. Designed specially for men, the Anti-Vice by GOA is the world’s only Anti-Vice Skin Solution treatment that recovers the skin from long exposure to internal and external stresses. Using GOA products that includes Dark Phyto-Matter, an organic infusion of retinoids, alpha-hydroxy acids and a high concentration of essential nutrients, the treatment will help boost the collagen level of the skin to restore its elasticity.

Bliss Spa

Perched on the 72nd and 73rd floors of the W Hong Kong, Bliss Spa's tailor-made “men”-u boasts a well-considered list of treatments specifically developed with men in mind.

They have nine luxurious treatment rooms with sweeping views that overlook the Hong Kong Harbour, in addition to private VIP couples' suites,  a Jacuzzi, sauna, steam rooms, vitality pool, FIT Gym and swimming pool, not to mention the rather delicious brownies and lemonade served on arrival.

We recommend:

Those looking to leave the spa considerably smoother may opt for the Ultimate He-Wax Treatment. Much like the name suggests, it’s a pretty comprehensive waxing that removes all hair from front to back and everything in between. It can be modified to focus only on specific areas.

The Peninsula Spa

If you want to indulge, you can’t do much better than The Peninsula in Hong Kong. The city’s oldest and most revered luxury hotel offers a state of the art urban hideaway, where their focus is on not just standard relaxation treatments but visible results.

The 14 lavish treatment rooms each offers stunning views of the Victoria Harbour. Plus, there’s an indoor swimming pool, hamam-style steam rooms, saunas, aromatherapy experience showers and a neighbouring fitness centre. They also have dedicated facial and massage services just for men.

We recommend:

The Ultimate Radiance Aesthetic Facial by Margy’s Monte Carlo is a 100-minute results-driven facial which uses ultrasonic wave technology to stimulatie the skin and combat signs of ageing. It visibly leaves the skin looking firmer and younger, with optimal results seen within three months.

The Oriental Spa

This 25,000 square feet urban escape occupies two floors of the Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Central and, since it opened in 2012, has won just about every award there is for spa excellence.

Among other facilities, they offer an 18-metre indoor swimming pool, 15 private deluxe treatment rooms, heated marble massage tables (perfect for the gentlemen-only hamam experience), and a high-tech fitness centre. They also regularly host wellness programs and workshops.

We recommend:

You’ll be hard pushed to find a better way to spend a relaxing hour in Hong Kong than the Oriental Essence Massage (HK$1,300-1,650). Using a divine blend of warming ginger, uplifting mandarin and sacred frankincense, the 60 to 90-minute massage gets to work on all the stress areas of the body and removes every last bit of tension so that you may, like we did, nod off to the land of bliss.
