The Inlay Shine collection by Boghossian is a selection of easily wearable high jewellery, each piece sculpted from slivers of 18-karat gold and framed by aquamarines, tourmalines, morganites and diamonds.
Pear-cut drops hanging from tiny hoops and pared-back bands dusted with diamonds are perfect for the everyday; a modern approach to these pieces to style them in unexpected ways; a ring slipped through fabric or woven into a sophisticated up-do, for example. But look a little closer and you’ll see the pieces are far from basic, and are exemplars of the maison’s extraordinary attention to detail. Architectural pendants, rings and earrings feature a spirited interplay of precious stones. Artisans use an ancient jewellery technique which was first applied by 16th- and 17th-century artists from the Mughal Empire to seamlessly slot together handfuls of gems in a way that puts colour front and centre. With the Inlay Shine morganite- mounted ring, for example, the pink tones radiate through the surrounding rock crystal and its border of small, brilliant diamonds.

A fringe of diamonds also embellishes the collection’s white-gold earrings, which are some of the more dramatic pieces currently on offer. Set with a pair of 3.38-carat tourmalines, they pay homage to the stylised floral motifs of Mughal art.
