BEIJING, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed the following ambassadors in accordance with a decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, an official statement said on Thursday.

Deng Li has been appointed ambassador to France and Monaco, replacing Lu Shaye.

Xiao Junzheng has been appointed ambassador to Israel, replacing Cai Run.

Zhang Wei has been appointed ambassador to Benin, replacing Peng Jingtao.

Dai Bing has been appointed ambassador to the Republic of Korea, replacing Xing Haiming.

Jiang Xuebin has been appointed ambassador to Türkiye, replacing Liu Shaobin.
