Julien Royer of Odette will be at Maison Dunand on November 26
For those with a taste for gastronomy, the Tatler Best Takeover Series offers a rare chance to encounter the likes of celebrated French chef Julien Royer of Odette from Singapore, as he brings his elegant French cuisine with vibrant Asian influence to Maison Dunand on November 26. Another highlight takes place on November 22 and 23, when Kai Ho of Taipei’s acclaimed Taïrroir teams up with Vincent Thierry of Chef’s Table by Lebua for two days to present a blend of French and Taiwanese flavours at the French restaurant inside Dusit Thani. On November 24 and 25, Ricardo Chaneton from Mono in Hong Kong will take you through an unforgettable exploration of Latin American cuisine at the Tiara Room, nestled within Dusit Thani, which offers stunning views of Lumpini Park.
The line-up of mixology talent at the Tatler Best of Asia Takeover Series
In the world of mixology, expect innovative cocktails from some of the best in the industry. Antonio Lai, a pioneer in molecular mixology from Hong Kong’s Quinary, will bring his inventive concoctions to Firefly Bar on November 22, and to Gaysorn’s Raynue Lounge on November 23. On the same evenings, Dohyung ‘Demie’ Kim from Seoul’s Zest will evoke retro glamour at Dusit Thani’s 1970 Bar, followed by a guest shift at Firefly Bar at Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, delivering creative drinks with modern flair and sustainable ingredients. Another unmissable event on November 24, when Prantik Haldar of Mumbai’s The Bombay Canteen pops up at Firefly Bar, to shake up bold, vibrant cocktails inspired by and celebrating the spirit of modern India in one of Bangkok’s most stylish bar settings.
