LIUZHOU, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- Luosifen, a noodle dish known for its "stinky" smell, is a signature street food in Liuzhou City of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It features rice vermicelli soaked in a spicy broth nicely flavored by river snails and topped with ingredients such as pickled bamboo shoots, string beans, peanuts and fried tofu skin.
Liuzhou, traditionally an industrial city best known for its steel and automobile manufacturing, started to produce pre-packaged Luosifen in 2014. Thanks to large-scale marketing and e-commerce, the delicacy has created a huge industrial chain and exports of pre-package Luosifen has registered remarkable sales volume in recent years.
