Situated inside a highly anticipated new development in London called The OWO, formerly Britain’s Old War Office, the stunning home is valued at GBP£14.25m.

Formerly the office of Sir Winston Churchill, the building is believed to be where the writer Ian Fleming developed the idea for James Bond. British interior design studio Angel O’Donnell has designed a stunning three-bedroom apartment at the iconic Grade II listed building in the heart of Whitehall.

For a heritage building so steeped in history, the design team has treated a beautiful 2,807-sq.ft. apartment to a scheme of timeless opulence and inimitable craftsmanship: handcrafted Savoir Beds, hand-painted ceramic lamps, richly embroidered curtains, marbleised wallpaper, brushed-bronze pendant lights, and a dazzling array of artwork, including two limited-edition Damien Hirsts and Chris Levine’s famous meditative portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.

“We chose a soft, warm palette to complement the building’s elegant heritage features. We then added subtle textures, patterns and colour for comfort and visual interest,” says Ed O’Donnell, Co-Founder of Angel O’Donnell.

“These design elements – along with a swarthy vellum drinks cabinet, bespoke marble dining table, plush velvet sofas, heavy lambswool curtains, wood panelling and over fifty original pieces of art – work in concert with each other to create the ultimate, sophisticated home.”

The home is one of the 85 apartments that are being created in this iconic building, along with a new Raffles flagship hotel and a selection of restaurants, bars and cafes.
