9 Times ‘The Silent Sea’ Star Bae Doona Slayed Her Style

Bae Doona is a household name, both in Korea and internationally, and the actress has made waves with serious roles in Netflix series’ Sense8, Kingdom and, most recently, The Silent Sea. Large round eyes and pouty lips give this Korean actress a sombre demeanour, which is compelling on screen, but there’s also a youthful edge to her look, which means we can’t help but root for her.
As a result, Doona can get away with plenty of different outfits, ranging from clean cut to colourful. It also helps that her current mushroom-esque haircut means everything looks cool on her. Her style generally leans towards the more minimal, with touches of femininity, and she often opts for pieces with a monochrome colour palette and luxurious fabrics, all while combining oversized silhouettes with slim-fitting proportions.
