As the Spring Festival, or the Chinese New Year, approaches, a number of world leaders and dignitaries extend their greetings to the Chinese people and communities. This year's festival marks the first celebration since its inscription on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
