Clean energy technology, particularly the "new three" of solar power, batteries and electric vehicles, emerged as an important source of growth in China's exports in 2023, according to Dialogue Earth, a London-based non-profit dedicated to environmental journalism.
"The Global South has emerged as a major destination for Chinese clean tech," it said.
