Centrestage has quickly become one of the premier events in Asia-Pacific fashion. Now in its ninth edition, it has lived up to its commitment to pushing creative boundaries in numerous ways, including through beauty. This year, Nars returned as its official make-up sponsor for ten prominent shows, including the highly anticipated Centrestage Elites, where Robert Wun’s show stole the spotlight.
After making a splash at Paris Fashion Week, Wun brought his London-based label back to Hong Kong for the first time, marking its 10th anniversary. The show was staged at the Hong Kong Palace Museum, setting the scene for him to showcase his brand in a striking, scarlet-lit set-up perfumed by sandalwood incense.

Creativity and Make-up Collide
Among the essential products that graced the show, Nars Light Reflecting Tone-up Veil SPF27/PA++ stood out. Packed with Triple Sugar Complex and Brightening Pearl Blend, it not only brightened the models’ skin but also provided a hydrated, even complexion. The Light Reflecting Makeup Setting Mist with the Radiance Retention Complex kept make-up flawless while shielding skin from blue light and pollution.
To complete the look, Nars Explicit Lipsticks added rich, bold colours with moisturising properties to the lips, and the Nars Quad Eyeshadows, known for their intense pigmentation, added depth and dimension to the eyes. The Nars Blush range delivered a natural flush for the final touch, perfectly complementing the avant-garde fashion statements.

Tying It All Together
Elevating fashion into art, this partnership between a make-up brand and a fashion designer is a demonstration of the power of creativity and innovation in the fashion industry. At Robert Wun’s Hong Kong show, the models didn’t just wear the designs; they embodied the story the designer sought to tell.
