Home Journal Awards 2024 returns for its fifth edition with more than 30 categories across the interior and architectural design spectrum. It's time to let your designs shine!
Good designs are worth honouring, and this has been the vision of the Home Journal Awards since its inception in 2020. Design and architecture firms from around the world are welcome to submit their outstanding projects. All projects must be based in Asia.
Entrants for the Best Designer Awards will be competing for Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit Awards in all categories, determined by a distinguished judging panel of design experts and industry pioneers. They include Otto Ng and Chun Hang Yip, Design Director and Architecture Director at LAAB; Denis Montel and Julia Capp, Artistic director and Executive Vice President & Chief Executive Officer at RDAI; Joe Cheng, Founder of Cheng Chung Design; Michael Young, Founder of Michael Young Studio; Tina Norden, Partner/Principal at Conran and Partners; and Jennifer Chan, managing editor of Home Journal. An awards ceremony will take place in November, followed by drinks and canapés.
This year, the Awards is introducing an exciting new addition – a special green design category. This innovative classification will spotlight environmentally conscious projects demonstrating outstanding sustainability across sectors like commercial, hospitality, residential and workspace design. By establishing a dedicated platform to recognize these exemplary eco-friendly endeavours, we aim to raise the profile of sustainable design solutions and inspire broader industry adoption. This category will be judged by award-winning green building design expert, Tony Ip, founder of Tony Ip Green Architects Ltd.
