"In order to understand China, the single best way is to come here and see the country with your own eyes," said Arnaud Bertrand, a French entrepreneur who did an RV (recreational vehicle) trip to the northeast China with his family last year.
The 144-hour transit visa-free policy is "a show of confidence by China," he said.
