DEGE, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Located at an average altitude of about 3,500 meters, Maisu Town is famous for traditional Tibetan craftsmanship such as Thangka painting, pottery and wood carving.
Dawa Drolma was born in a Tibetan family of craftsmen dedicated to copper casting for about 200 years in Maisu. After studying business management abroad, Dawa returned to her hometown and launched a workshop with her brother to make traditional copper figurines and cultural and creative products.

Supported by local authorities, their workshop continues to expand, and the products gain popularity at home and abroad. Dawa also organizes fairs, sessions and exhibitions to promote copper casting products.
