A field program on the promotion of Chinese rice planting and breeding techniques has been conducted by Green Agriculture West Africa Limited (GAWAL), a Chinese company in Abuja.
Wang Xuemin, the assistant general manager and rice expert of the company believes that Chinese rice technology will greatly help African countries including Nigeria increase food production and ensure food security.
