HONG KONG, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- People are preparing to celebrate the upcoming Spring Festival, or Chinese New Year, welcoming the first day of the lunar calendar that symbolizes renewal and family unity.

Inscribed in 2024 on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the Spring Festival invites people around the world to experience its inclusive and festive spirit.
