HUANGSHAN, June 23 (Xinhua) -- Rare but heavy rainfall has hit Huangshan recently, triggering flood and waterlogging in the city. In ChengKan, a village in Huangshan with a history of more than 1,800 years, measurements such as relocating residents, closing tourist attractions and stacking sandbags, have been taken to reinforce flood defense and minimize the impact of the extreme weather conditions.
