With so many new luxury handbags dropping this season—or old styles making a comeback—it can take a moment to decide which one best reflects your personal style, especially if you’re considering one to travel with.

Celebrities and brand ambassadors of luxury lifestyle maisons usually have access to the latest handbags ahead of their official launch, and we get a sneak preview of the soon-be-unveiled handbags from their social media posts. This summer, we’ve seen a variety of stylish ways that stars such as Blackpink’s Jisoo and actress Sydney Sweeney have worn the Dior Groove or the Jimmy Choo Cinch handbags on their respective travels, and we share our favourites from other celebrities, too.

While in Paris to attend the brand’s women’s spring-summer 2024 show, Felix of K-pop group Stray Kids took an evening stroll wearing Louis Vuitton head to toe, from a tracksuit and white T-shirt to the Side Trunk bag. The juxtaposing nature of the casual ensemble helped to tone down the structured and formal nature of the bag—it’s a cool styling choice that works to transition to autumn weather.

For example, this look she wore earlier this month in New York consists of an indie sleaze band tee, Y3K-inspired silver tracksuit bottoms, “brat summer” attitude with her hair in curlers and the retro-inspired Gucci Ophidia tote bag.
