The 2024 Paris Fashion Week, which took place from September 23 to October 1, was a spectacular showcase of creativity, innovation and high fashion. Being one of the Big Four fashion weeks, renowned French fashion houses such as Chanel, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and more showcased their 2025 spring-summer collections, which attracted designers, models, fashion enthusiasts and media from around the world.

From Blackpink’s Jennie in blonde to Dior embracing athleticism and Kylie Jenner making her runway debut with Coperni: these are our favourite moments from this year’s Paris Fashion Week.

Dior continues the dialogue between fashion and athletics

Kicking off with an arrow shot by artist Sagga Napoli, the Dior spring-summer 2025 show continued the dialogue between fashion and athletics.

Maria Grazia Chiuri’s collection explores the essence of garments, emphasising the connection between the body and fashion. By reinterpreting archival cuts, including the iconic Amazone dress from 1951-1952, the creative director celebrates autonomous femininity.

The collection features a striking black-and-white graphic line, black-and-white ensembles, jersey lightweight evening dresses, sports shirts enhanced with shiny embellishments, and vibrant red accents.

Dior Princess Jisoo and actress Anya Taylor Joy came to support Maria Grazia Chiuri’s latest creations for Dior. Korean actor Nam Joo Hyuk made a surprise appearance at the Dior Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show following his military service return.

Thai-German star Kimberley Anne Woltemas, Chinese actress Zhou Ye, Filipino actresses Heart Evangelista and Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey as well as Japanese actress Rikako Yagi all graced the front row to admire Maria Grazia Chiuri’s latest creations.

Yves Saint Laurent shines through its star-studded front row

Blackpink member Rosé made a stunning appearance at Saint Laurent’s spring-summer 2025 fashion show! She stunned in a sexy look featuring a lace camisole and vintage fur.

At the same event, Korean actor Cha Eun Woo made his debut appearance at the brand’s fashion show, looking stylish in an all-brown suit.

Many celebrities and stars were in attendance, including actress Gwyneth Paltrow, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Zoë Kravitz, supermodel Kate Moss, Iris Law, and Academy Award-winning actor Rami Malek, all gathered to witness the latest creations of Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello.

The French sustainability-focused designer, who made headlines with his costumes for the Paris Olympics opening and closing ceremonies this year, returned to Paris Fashion Week with his sixth collection. Celebrating the art of upcycling, Germanier continues to redefine contemporary fashion while supporting young talent globally through collaborations on some of these looks.

Inspired by the zodiac, each of the 24 daring outfits embodies the essence of the stars, featuring innovative materials like plastic curtains and remnants of VHS tapes.

At the Courrèges spring-summer 2025 show, Korean idol Woo Young of Ateez and actress Nana graced the front row alongside Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, all in chic ensembles.

Designer Nicolas Di Felice continues to impress with sleek, sculptural silhouettes and sensual cutouts, all showcased in a palette of neutral colours.

Acne studios explores surrealism and transformation

Acne Studios welcomed fashion-forward guests, including K-pop girl group Illit, NCT127’s Johnny Suh, Thai fashionista Nuttanicha “Nychaa” Dungwattanawanich, and Singapore’s Yoyo Cao, at the show venue.

The fantastical space featured a new installation comprising soft sculptures, furniture, and paintings by Philadelphia-based visual artist Jonathan Lyndon Chase.

For the spring-summer 2025 show, creative director Jonny Johansson explores a twisted domestic aesthetic, transforming familiar home furnishings into striking fashion. Surreal silhouettes, ranging from super-shrunken to inflated, play with drapes and bows reminiscent of upholstery.

Dries Van Noten blends natural beauty with bold looks

Dries Van Noten debuted its first collection designed by the studio in Antwerp since the departure of its founder.

The spring-summer 2025 collection unfolds as an exploration of the signature visual language, blending natural beauty with bold looks. Coats tied at the waist and relaxed layering create sophisticated day-to-evening styles, while fluid silhouettes and sensual details shine through.

Opulent fabrics like silk georgette and jacquard contrast with vibrant prints inspired by nature, such as abstract florals and animal motifs. A vivid palette of orange, lime green and turquoise evokes a fresh, optimistic spirit.

Chloé captures lightness and freedom

Chloé girls including Korean actress Jeon Jong Seo, American actress Sienna Miller, model Taylor Hill, Taiwanese fashionista Kiwi Lee, Hong Kong’s Elva Ni and more bring a breeze of summer to the Paris Fashion Week front row.

“I wanted to capture that longing for summer and the way summer makes you feel - taking the essence of Chloé’s roots as a starting point, building new foundations and capturing that fantasy moment of the summer months when you reconnect with yourself,” says the creative director Chemena Kamali, who brought back a free spirit to the brand after taking over the creative helm last season. “When you pause, escape, explore, discover and recharge.”

In a palette of apricot pink and earth tones, the collection exudes a light, weightless, and joyful mood, blending precious and simple fabrics like sun-faded lace, ribbed cotton jersey, and billowy silks. Delicate pieces include a cotton ribbed henley edged in lace and playful 70s-inspired bloomers. It captures a sense of lingerie-inspired softness paired with summer tailoring, embodying a liberating expression of freedom.

Longchamp launches a series of events

Longchamp has launched a series of “Energy by Longchamp” events, starting from Paris and extending to Hong Kong, marking its presence in seven major cities.

The events bring the brand’s unique creative energy and showcase the 2025 spring-summer collection on-site. Featuring balloon-like silhouettes and watercolour patterns, the collection offers a dreamy interpretation of love and death. The spotlight was also on the shoes, as the show unveiled an upcoming collaboration between the brand and Adidas.

Massika narrates the story of a night to remember

It’s a starry night at Messika 4th high jewellery show, with (G)I-dle’s Miyeon and Chinese ambassador Gong Jun making dashing appearances, and Emily in Paris cast Camille Razat and Lucien Laviscount’s cameo.

The collection, Midnight Sun Opus II, narrates the story of a night to remember and lets light and contrast define every piece.

Loewe embraces radical reduction

Runway report Loewe: “What happens when one takes all the noise away? Is it possible to fill an empty white room, commanding attention, without shouting for space?” asks Jonathan Anderson.

This collection answers such questions through radical reduction. Silhouettes that reveal the construction of the garments are bending, bouncing, flowing in curves on the runway.

Korean popular boy group Seventeen’s member S.Coups, Thai actress Pimchanok “Baifern” Luevisadpaibul, Japanese actress Nana Seino, and Taiwanese actress Gingle Wang were all in attendance to appreciate the latest creations by creative director Jonathan Anderson.

Vivienne Westwood reimagines classic aesthetics

Cardi B, who has been rocking multiple looks at Paris Fashion Week this season and captain of Ateez Hong Joong have arrived in dapper styles at Vivienne Westwood spring-summer 2025.

Titled Calibrate, Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood reimagines classic aesthetics, merging eclectic prints with unique textures, all while maintaining a commitment to sustainability.

The line-up beautifully evolves from simple silhouettes to a vibrant clash of patterns, showcasing the brand's signature style codes in fresh, thrift-inspired designs.

Hermès thrives through experimentation

The atelier serves as a creative landscape for Hermès spring-summer 2025, where experimentation thrives, blending raw materials with refined tools. Versatility reigns, exemplified by pieces like a chestnut silk twill romper and a flowing calfskin coat that combine utility with elegance.

“A look, like a life, like a sketch, takes shape in layers.” The collection features a mix of textures and colours, showcasing the resourcefulness of the artist’s palette. It explores the interplay of light and form, merging functionality with sensuality, resulting in a unique and tactile experience.

Valentino re-examines the definition of ‘beauty’

As his first fashion show since joining Valentino, new creative director Alessandro Michele returned to the runway after a two-year hiatus. He transformed the venue into a long-abandoned old house, using shattered mirrors as flooring. Following the Resort collection unveiled in June, he once again infused his strong personal style into the 2025 spring-summer collection—Pavillon des Folies.

Alessandro Michele re-examined the definition of “beauty,” which seemed purposeless to him but reminded him of the vibrant colours of flowers. These captivating hues are one of the most precious and delicate works he knows, inspiring the creation of the entire collection and once again connecting his creativity with “beauty.”

Elements such as feather trims, fur shawls, lace, and pearls were interspersed throughout the collection, paying homage to the brand’s traditions. The romantic yet melancholic atmosphere at the venue further enhanced its glamorous allure. The glittering sequin coats evoked memories of the silk dresses worn by classic Hollywood starlets of the 1960s.

Valentino‘s 2025 spring-summer fashion show, led by new creative director Alessandro Michele, attracted a diverse group of international celebrities.

Attendees included Yoona from Girls’ Generation, Hong Kong singer Sammi Cheng, actors Jared Leto and Andrew Garfield, singer Harry Styles, Thai actor Jeff Satur, and Chinese actresses Guan Xiaotong and Yang Zi.

The varied guest list highlighted the global interest in Michele’s debut collection for the Italian fashion house.

Featuring a project by artist Goshka Macuga, the show investigates themes of vanity and self-perception through a narrative film and a physical newspaper, “The Truthless Times”.

The collection represents early youth as a time of honesty, offering simplicity in clothing as a response to the overstimulation common in our contemporary existence.

Korean girl group Ive’s Jang Won Young and Camila Cabello made a stunning appearance at the Miu Miu spring-summer 2025 fashion show, witnessing the brand’s latest creations together.

Stella McCartney celebrates birds

Runway report Stella McCartney: the spring-summer 2025 show saw Olympians including legendary diver Tom Daley on the front row. Narrated by Dame Helen Mirren, the show centred on the “Save What You Love” manifesto, inspired by author Jonathan Franzen’s book “The End of the End of the Earth”.

The collection celebrates birds, is crafted entirely without causing harm to living creatures, and features 91% conscious materials. Highlights include the new vegan Stella Ryder bag, Savile Row tailoring in neutral tones, and innovative silhouettes with fluid draping. The pieces showcase hand-painted dove prints, recycled materials, and luxurious vegan leather, all reflecting the brand’s commitment to sustainability and style.

Sacai showcases a star-studded front row

Korean boyband The Boyz member New and actress Lee Hye-ri showed up in chic utilitarian styles at the Sacai spring-summer 2025 show.

Balenciaga features skin-tone bodysuits, backless dresses with corset-style lacing

With Britney SpearsGimme More playing in the background, the Balenciaga spring-summer 2025 show was a visual feast. Taking place on a massive table inspired by Demna’s grandmother’s kitchen table, where he would draw looks on cardboard and cut them out to create “fashion shows.”

The latest collection features skin-tone bodysuits, backless dresses with corset-style lacing, and super low-waist bootcut jeans. Lightweight cropped cocoon jackets and, as always, exaggerated silhouettes are incorporated into eveningwear. Completing the looks are the It top handle bag and 360 wraparound eyewear.

The Balenciaga show was set to dazzle with an incredible lineup of celebrities.

Joining the front row were Thai style stars Krit “PPKritt” Amnuaydechkorn, Nychaa, The Boyz’s Juyeon, Ayaka Miyoshi, Hong Kong singer Kayan9896, and the inspiring Chinese Olympian Eileen Gu.

Chanel embodies the idea of freedom of movement

“People have always wanted to put me in cages … I never wanted any cage than one I built myself.” This quote from Gabrielle Chanel was the inspiration behind the Chanel spring-summer 2025 collection and set.

Ending with an ethereal singing performance by actor Riley Keough swinging in a cage, the collection evolved from tweed, to feathers to capes in refreshing silhouettes and summery palette, all embodying the idea of freedom of movement.

The last day of Paris Fashion Week kicked off with one of the most anticipated shows as Chanel made its grand comeback to the iconic Grand Palais for the first time in four years.

Joining the fashion moment are global ambassador and style icon Blackpink Jennie, Laufey, Ines de la Fressange, Fala Chen, Thai actress Rebecca Patricia Armstrong, and more.
