Kuala Lumpur is undoubtedly home to a wealth of good eats, from both street food gems to fine dining establishments. And who better to ask for recommendations than chefs themselves?

In this series, we speak to Aidan Low of Akar Dining, one of Tatler Dining Malaysia’s Top 20 Restaurants in 2024. Low was also Tatler Dining Malaysia’s Rising Star, and is known for championing local ingredients, presenting them through a modern Malaysian tasting menu at Akar Dining.
