From March 13 to 15, Tatler Best will take over Phuket for a series of exclusive experiences, bringing together an impressive roster of chefs and mixologists from Taipei, Manila, Hong Kong, Seoul and Shenzhen, alongside Thailand’s top talent, at InterContinental Phuket Resort.

Over three nights, guests can experience an exceptional lineup of collaborative tasting menus and cocktail showcases, blending diverse culinary perspectives with Phuket’s vibrant dining scene, available exclusively at Mastercard’s Priceless.com.

Following a successful debut in Bangkok, the Tatler Best Takeover Series returns with a second edition that promises to build on the excitement.

From March 13 to 15, Hom at InterContinental Phuket Resort will welcome two esteemed chefs: Vanessa Huang of Ephernité, Taipei and Josh Boutwood of Helm, Manila to join Ricardo Nunes from Hom for a special six-hands dinner on the three evenings.

The dinner will see Huang’s refined, French-inspired approach complementing Boutwood’s progressive, ingredient-focused cooking and Nunes’s contemporary locavorism. This menu promises to be a thoughtful exploration of technique, sustainability and flavour, bringing together global sensibilities with local ingredients in a seamless and captivating way.

Then, on March 14 and 15, Jaras at InterContinental Phuket Resort will host an equally compelling collaboration between resident chef Chalermwut Srivorakul of Jaras, Phuket, Minchul Kang of Kang Minchul Restaurant, Seoul and Jerry Tian of Avant, Shenzhen for two days of lunch and dinner.

With a focus on Thai sustainability, French-Korean technique and modern Chinese innovation, the trio will present a menu that highlights each of their individual styles while finding common ground in precision and flavour. Expect dishes that balance complexity with elegance, where every bite tells a story of cross-cultural exchange and meticulous craftsmanship.

The mixologists: A showcase of cocktail creativity

Two of Asia’s leading bartenders take over Pine Beach Bar for two nights, from March 14 to 15, to present inventive mixology on Kamala Beach. Each mixology event includes an exclusive Tatler Best of Asia Takeover Series cocktail, created specifically for the occasion.

Federico Balzarini of Argo (Hong Kong) will collaborate with Kunawut Wongruen (Kim), Pine Beach Bar’s resident bartender, bringing Argo’s forward-thinking approach and Pine’s focus on sustainability and craftsmanship together. The result is a selection of cocktails that showcase technical skill and bold flavour profiles.

Nick Wu of Bar Mood (Taipei) will also join Kim on the two evenings. Wu, known for his expertise in incorporating Taiwanese botanicals and meticulous balance, will present a cocktail menu that blends traditional techniques with unexpected ingredients.
