In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong invites all to embrace the full moon spirits with your dearest family and friends with The Mooncake Bento Box, creating meaningful moments in the spirit of sustainability and with time-honoured flavours.

An ode to the treasure and beauty of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the hotel is intertwining sustainability efforts and sweet flavours all together in a chic mooncake bento box, celebrating the festive season with an artistically designed gift box with auspicious meanings. Containing the much-loved milk custard mooncakes, the double-decker bento boxes can be repurposed into bento boxes and functional containers for daily use, while the wrapper band celebrates the traditional Mid-Autumn festival rituals.

Giving a second life to the trendsetting mooncake bento boxes, guests can also return a full set of the two-tiered box, lid and wrapping band to the hotel by the end of December, and a complimentary glass of the Sommelier’s selected Champagne or non-alcoholic mocktail will be gifted for enjoyment when dining at Amber and Somm as an appreciation of guests’ unwavering support towards our sustainability efforts, ensuring the boxes are fully repurposed within the hotel as containers for in-room amenities.
