China's Guangxi launches incentive package to boost car sales

NANNING, April 10 (Xinhua) -- China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has rolled out a package of incentives to bolster auto sales.

A total of 100 million yuan (about 14.2 million U.S. dollars) of subsidies will be offered to encourage auto manufacturers in the region to build online marketing platforms and enhance marketing efforts, said the regional department of industry and information technology.

The region also encourages the manufacturing of ambulances needed in fighting the coronavirus epidemic by giving the manufacturer 3,000 yuan for each ambulance sold for epidemic prevention and control.  ■
