Luxury watch brands are teaming up with top Korean actors like Jung Woo-sung and Lee Byung-Hun, with their timepieces appearing in hit TV series
Fashion and accessories favoured by Korean actors and actresses both on and off screen often become hit, must-have items among fans. Here, we take style cues from top Korean stars and check out what timepieces they've been spotted wearing on and off the screen.
Song Joong-ki
The Descendants of the Sun actor played a South Korean special forces operative in the series. His character Yoo Si-jin wore Breitling's Navitmer with his army uniform.
When secret watches meet high-end jewellery
Song Hye-kyo
The actress has been spotted wearing Chaumet jewels and watches both on and off screen. For her role in television series Boyfriend, she wore the Hortensia and Liens LumiEre watch. Song is a fan of the Josephine watch.
Song has also been seen wearing Chaumet's more recent release, the Bolero watch, at events and personal outings.
Son Ye-jin
Her character Yoon Se-ri in the Netflix hit show Crash Landing on You was forced to pawn her Chopard Happy Sport watch for money to return from North Korea to the South.
