Vicky Cheng and Korean chef Kang Ming-Goo to present an exclusive collaboration menu featuring the best of both establishments
After a successful line-up of sold-out collaboration dinners from Tokyo’s Florilege to Singapore’s Odette, VEA continues this year with a new series of four-hands dinners, beginning with Mingles from Seoul.
On February 25, 2020, Cheng and Kang will co-present an exclusive menu featuring the cuisines of both creative chefs. Celebrated for his harmonious blend of cultures and cooking styles, Kang trained under Martin Berasategui in San Sebastian and covered the Miami and Bahamas outposts of Japanese restaurant Nobu. His culinary style fuses elements of Japanese, Spanish and French cuisines with strong references to Korean cuisine as the backbone. Together the chef duo will present a menu showcasing the best of both restaurants, together with two exclusive collaboration dishes designed especially for the dinner menu.
The VEA x Mingles menu is priced at HK$2,880 per person, with an optional cocktail pairing by Antonio Lai or wine pairing by sommelier Alex Yim for an additional HK$780 per person. Bookings are available online at midnight here on January 28, 2020.
