Lamborghini Hong Kong owners can experience Humansa's nano titanium photocatalyst interior coating—a patented Japanese treatment that can decompose 99.99 per cent of viruses and bacteria for up to one year.

In this age of social distancing, there are two simple, everyday life-things that have been elevated in stature to ultimate luxury—(1) private outdoor space and (2) a great car. Both provide owners the privilege of venturing outside the confines of four walls into the big, wide world—without ever really having to set foot in public. Now, Lamborghini Hong Kong is giving owners access to a service that will optimise their vehicles for the post-Covid era. From now through the end of July, Lamborghini owners can sign up to receive a $2,800 nano titanium photocatalyst car interior coating—a Japanese patented treatment that's approved by the Photocatalyst Industrial Association of Japan and effectively destroys 99.99 per cent of viruses and bacteria for up to a year.

Even better? In addition to acquiring the service for owners, Lamborghini Hong Kong has partnered with Humansa to pledge a one-time interior coating for the Hong Chi Association shuttle bus for each purchase made, with all profits going towards an initiative to provide coating to four Hong Chi Association activity centres. The Hong Chi Association, formerly known as the Hong Kong Association for the Mentally Handicapped, was founded in 1965 and is dedicated to serving people with intellectual disabilities and to assist them in development to their full potential.

"Since early February until end of April, we introduced a complimentary car cleaning and air quality improvement services to our valued customers, giving extra care of protection in line with quality aspirations," Albert Wong, director of Lamborghini Hong Kong. "Furthermore, we hope to support the local underprivileged community with essential service they need."

The specialised service includes a disinfection and sterilisation process followed by a spray application of SN-568, an anti-bacterial, anti-virus coating that FDA-recognised as safe for humans (it's commonly used in food and apparel production). Once the coating has been exposed to light, it will begin decomposing viruses and bacteria, and will last for a year.

"To fight against COVID-19, Humansa is committed to providing high-quality and reliable services to the community through innovative technology. Especially for people with intellectual disabilities who often touch different objects in their daily lives, the nano titanium photocatalyst coating provides them with a clean environment so as to enjoy a better physical and mental health," said Kenneth She, Chief Executive Officer of Humansa, in a statement.
