Chinese-American artist Chloe Ho's works have been featured internationally. Her work is featured in a show at Hong Kong's 3812 Gallery (16B, Wyndham Place, 40-44 Wyndham Street, Central) and a new exhibition, Unconfined Illumination, in 3812 Gallery, London, the UK, until November 15.

I'm definitely a foodie. I enjoy seeking out different cuisines and dining experiences. It's one of life's wonderful pastimes. As an artist, I'm interested in the "art" intrinsic in food " the creative spark of origin, the alchemy, the presentation, the cultural significance of dishes.

Currently, I like The Legacy House (5/F, Rosewood Hong Kong, 18 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 3891 8732). The food presents a true symphony of Cantonese and Shunde cuisines " authentic and brilliant in its delicacy. The crispy pigeon and the fish balls with minced pork and pumpkin are unforgettable. The views are memorable, service is excellent, and you always see someone you know.

I also love Tiffin (mezzanine, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, 1 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, tel: 2584 7722). The chefs are brilliant and innovative. The afternoon tea is a favourite with the best eclairs and caneles. Its iconic mezzanine vantage point is essential Hong Kong.

For visitors, I would take them to two places representing the city's diverse nature. One is the grande dame of French cuisine, Gaddi's (1/F, The Peninsula Hong Kong, 22 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 2696 6763). You can feel the sense of connection with its history there. The roasted pigeon and the chocolate souffle are extraordinary.

For lunch, I would head over to Luk Yu Tea House (24 Stanley Street, Central, tel: 2523 5464). It's been in business for almost 100 years retaining its charm. I particularly recommend the eight treasures duck. Order it in advance to make sure it's available.

One of my guilty pleasures include delicious sauteed milk with crabmeat and pork rolls at Stellar House (3/F, Chuang's Enterprises Building, 382 Lockhart Road, Wan Chai, tel: 3702 1882).

Others are a burger at Shake Shack (two locations including Shop 105A, Pacific Place, 88 Queensway, Admiralty, tel: 2810 8928), chocolate with a special bottled cold brew coffee from Coffee Academics (various locations including 38 Yiu Wa Street, Causeway Bay, tel: 2156 0313), and a norcina pizza with a special 36-hour naturally fermented crust at CIAK " In The Kitchen (Shop 327-333, 3/F The Landmark, 15 Queen's Road Central, Central, tel: 2522 8869).

I also like, in Macau, the fabulous steak restaurant Grill 58 (MGM Cotai, Avenida da Nave Desportiva, Coloane-Taipa, tel: +853 8806 2318).

It has it all " an unbelievable wine list and some of the most delicious aged and salt-cured steaks. I always order the Normandy specially cut French beef. The restaurant overlooks a wall of moving art so it's a feast for the eyes too.

In New York, I like Cafe Boulud (20 East 76th Street, New York 10021, tel: +212 772 2600) for fine dining. It's always market fresh, and original. In London, I always go to Wiltons (55 Jermyn Street, St James, London SW1Y 6LX, tel: +44 020 7629 9955). I love everything about it. It's traditional and beautifully lost in time with the best prime rib and lobster.
