China is set to make Hong Kong national security laws as a related decision was adopted at the national legislature recently.
National security legislation is a matter of necessity and urgency, which will benefit most of Hong Kong residents, said Teresa Cheng Yeuk-Wah, secretary for justice of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), on Monday in an interview with Xinhua.
