Special arrangements have been made for fans attending Thursday night's World Cup qualifier between Hong Kong and Bahrain at Hong Kong Stadium.

The Hong Kong Football Association has announced that ticket holders can get a refund (including service charges) if they cannot attend the match due to the severe transport problems caused by the social unrest that has hit various districts across the city.

Ticket holders need to take their ticket(s), a refund application form, their identity card and the credit card they used for their online transaction (if applicable) to the HKFA office between November 20 to December 19 in order for the refund to be processed.

They can also take the above along to the box office at the venues of all Hong Kong Premier League matches for the period from November 20 to December 19 to get their refund.

The refund application form can be downloaded on the HKFA website after November 15.

The HKFA also announced that three buses will be available for fans after Thursday night's game with the bus stop at Cotton Path near Hong Kong Stadium.

The three bus routes are:

2R (to Yiu Tung Estate, Sai Wan Ho)

8R (to Island Resort, Siu Sai Wan)

914R (to Jordan)

More than 6,000 tickets have been sold prior to match day. The box office at the venue has already opened.

Hong Kong have yet to register a win in their qualifying group with only one point from three games " a draw against Cambodia, while Bahrain upset Asia's top-ranked side, Iran, in their last game.
